Thank you for choosing EcoFlow Malaysia. This Warranty Policy explains what your product warranty covers, how long it lasts for each product, what is not covered, and how our authorised local service centre handles repairs, replacements and inspections. It is written to give you clear, honest and transparent after-sales support while remaining consistent with EcoFlow's global warranty direction.

How this policy fits together. EcoFlow's global brand warranty (including its up-to-five-year commitment on large-capacity power stations) continues to apply as the manufacturer's baseline. This document is the local Malaysian service policy and terms that sit alongside it, operated by our authorised Recommended Service Centre. Where a customer requires service that falls outside these local terms, the case can always be escalated to EcoFlow's official global support channel.

Contents

1. Scope & Definitions

This policy applies to all EcoFlow products purchased from EcoFlow Malaysia (True Colour Media Group Sdn Bhd) or its authorised Malaysian channels, and serviced through our authorised local Recommended Service Centre. Warranty coverage is valid within Malaysia only.

  • "Product" — the EcoFlow power station, expansion/extra battery, solar panel, smart device (GLACIER, WAVE), charger, cable or accessory identified on your proof of purchase.
  • "Original Purchaser" — the first end-user who bought the Product from an authorised Malaysian channel. Warranty is non-transferable unless approved in writing.
  • "Service Centre" — the authorised local Recommended Service Centre in Malaysia that receives, inspects, repairs and returns products under this policy.
  • "Warranty Period" — the coverage duration for the specific Product as listed in Section 3, starting from the date of delivery to the Original Purchaser.
  • "Warranty Case" — a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, eligible for repair/replacement. "Non-Warranty Case" — damage or fault falling under the exclusions in Section 7.
Products purchased elsewhere. Products bought through marketplace resellers (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, AliExpress, etc.), overseas channels, or other unauthorised sellers carry the warranty of that seller or channel — not EcoFlow Malaysia. Please contact the respective seller or platform for warranty support.

If your seller refers you to us, we can provide a paid inspection service and issue a written inspection report on the unit's condition. However, if the inspection concludes that the unit requires an RMA, warranty repair or replacement, EcoFlow Malaysia will not carry out the RMA or warranty action for units not purchased from our authorised Malaysian channels. You will be referred back to your original seller, together with our inspection report, to pursue the claim through them.

2. General Warranty Terms

  • All eligible Products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for the period stated in Section 3, beginning on the date of delivery to the Original Purchaser.
  • The warranty covers repair, replacement of defective parts, or unit replacement at EcoFlow Malaysia's reasonable discretion. It does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or a brand-new unit.
  • Warranty coverage is limited to Malaysia. Service is arranged through the authorised local Service Centre.
  • Cables, connectors and extension leads carry a limited 6-month warranty and are not eligible for extended-warranty registration. Other consumable/wear items (filters, seals) carry the period shown in Section 3.
  • Repaired or replaced parts are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period, or 90 days from service completion, whichever is longer.
  • EcoFlow's global marketing warranty (up to 5 years on qualifying large-capacity systems) remains the manufacturer baseline; the local terms in this document govern how service is delivered in Malaysia.

3. Warranty Period Schedule (by SKU)

The table below is the authoritative Malaysian warranty schedule for EcoFlow products. General rule: most power stations and battery products carry a 2-Year Standard (whole-unit) Warranty plus a 5-Year Limited Battery Warranty — the unit (casing, inverter, ports, screen, buttons, fans, BMS and other components) is covered for 2 years, and the battery cells are covered for 5 years. Some models covered by EcoFlow for a shorter period (e.g., the RIVER 3 series and the inverter-only unit) are 2 years, and non-battery products (solar panels, chargers, cables) and 1-year items follow the periods shown below. The schedule prevails per model. Warranty starts from the date of delivery.

In plain terms: most power stations and batteries carry a 2-year whole-unit warranty plus a 5-year limited battery warranty (some entry models, such as the RIVER 3 series and the inverter-only unit, are 2 years — see the schedule); smart cooling appliances (GLACIER fridges, WAVE) and smaller/entry solar panels are 1 year (a battery bundled with a GLACIER or WAVE carries a 2-year battery coverage while the appliance stays 1 year); other solar panels are 2 years; and cables, connectors and extension leads carry a limited 6-month warranty. Your invoice states the exact period for your product.
Understanding the "5-year warranty." In Malaysia, EcoFlow power stations and batteries come with a 2-Year Standard (whole-unit) Warranty plus a 5-Year Limited Battery Warranty. The 5-year cover applies to the battery (manufacturing defects in the cells); the unit itself — inverter, ports, screen, buttons, fans and other components — is covered for 2 years. For longer whole-unit or priority coverage, you can opt into EcoFlow Care (Section 14).

Discontinued, clearance & aged-stock models. Some products are end-of-life or discontinued — for example, the DELTA Pro and the GLACIER (Gen 1) — and remaining units may have been manufactured earlier and held in stock longer. For these, and for any other discontinued, clearance, display or aged-stock item, a shorter or adjusted warranty period may apply to reflect the stock age. The applicable period is confirmed at the point of sale and stated on your invoice; where an adjusted period applies, the invoice period prevails over the standard schedule above. By purchasing such a unit you accept the adjusted period stated at the time of purchase.

Schedule aligned to the current EcoFlow Malaysia price list. Where a specific SKU is not listed, the closest equivalent category period applies, subject to confirmation of the Malaysia item code. In the event of any discrepancy, the warranty stated on the official proof of purchase / invoice prevails.

4. Proof of Purchase & Registration

  • No formal registration is required for standard warranty claims in Malaysia. Coverage is validated against your invoice, order number or receipt from an authorised channel.
  • Always keep your proof of purchase. A valid dated invoice/receipt is required to establish the warranty start date and eligibility. Without it, the warranty start date may be estimated from the product manufacturing date, or the claim may be declined.
  • For extended-warranty benefits or EcoFlow Care (Section 14), retain proof of purchase and register with our support team.
  • The product serial number must be intact and legible. Removed, altered or unreadable serial numbers void the warranty.

5. Replacement & DOA Windows

Please choose carefully. EcoFlow Malaysia does not offer change-of-mind returns or refunds. Returns are accepted only for Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) units or confirmed manufacturing defects, as set out below. Any other return terms are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

These early-life windows sit on top of the standard warranty and are counted from the date of delivery.

Window Timeframe What you get
30-Day DOA / Defect Replacement Within 30 calendar days A unit that is Dead-on-Arrival or develops a confirmed manufacturing defect is prioritised for replacement with a new equivalent unit (or repair where more appropriate), subject to inspection. Original box and accessories required.
Standard Warranty After day 30 to end of period Repair or defective-part replacement under the standard warranty in Section 3.

All replacement requests require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) before shipping. Do not send any product to us before receiving RMA instructions.

6. What the Warranty Covers

Within the applicable Warranty Period, and subject to inspection, the warranty covers defects arising from materials or workmanship under normal use, including:

  • Battery cells or Battery Management System (BMS) that fail to hold or deliver charge due to a manufacturing defect.
  • Inverter, AC/DC output, USB ports or charging circuitry that fail under normal rated use.
  • Solar panel cells or internal wiring that fail to generate rated output within the tolerance in Section 9 (excluding physical/environmental damage).
  • Cooling/heating systems, compressors and control boards on GLACIER and WAVE units failing under normal use.
  • Firmware or component faults that prevent normal operation and cannot be resolved by a standard update.

Remedy is, at EcoFlow Malaysia's reasonable discretion: (a) repair; (b) replacement of the defective part; or (c) replacement of the unit with a new or functionally-equivalent product. For a Warranty Case, spare parts and labour are provided free of charge; the inspection fee and delivery/courier remain compulsory and payable by the customer (see Section 11).

Repair-first approach. Valid warranty cases are handled in this order: remote troubleshooting → initial inspection → repair → parts replacement → unit replacement. A replacement is arranged only where the product cannot reasonably be repaired or where repair is not cost-effective. Being within the warranty period does not entitle a customer to demand a brand-new unit, an upgrade to a newer model, an immediate refund, or additional compensation for repair waiting time. Where a replacement is provided, it may be a new unit, a repaired good-as-new unit, or an equivalent model, at EcoFlow Malaysia's discretion.

7. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover (Non-Warranty Cases)

The following are excluded and will be handled as paid, non-warranty service (see Sections 11 & 13). This separation protects both the customer and the Service Centre and mirrors standard industry practice.

Normal wear and tear is not a defect. Gradual, expected changes from ordinary use — minor cosmetic marks and scuffs, fading, loosening of hinges/latches, detached rubber gaskets/seals or port/plug covers, wheels and handles becoming less smooth, and a normal decline in battery capacity within rated limits — are part of the product's natural ageing and are not covered.

Human & physical damage

  • Drop, crush, impact or transport damage caused by the user
  • Cracked casings, handles, covers or lids; bent ports; broken hinges/kickstands; torn solar fabric
  • Detached rubber gaskets/seals, or port and plug covers that fall off
  • Wheels/castors or trolley handles that no longer roll or extend smoothly
  • A 3-pin UK plug cracked internally or externally — treated as mishandling/misuse
  • Cosmetic wear that does not affect function

Liquid & environmental

  • Water ingress, flooding, rain or moisture beyond the product's IP rating
  • Lightning strikes, power surges and electrical faults from the grid or vehicle
  • Fire, corrosion, sand, pest/rodent damage, extreme heat or humidity

Misuse & operation

  • Improper charging, over-discharge, wrong voltage or incompatible chargers
  • Use of unapproved or third-party accessories, panels or cables
  • Port or connector burn-out caused by incompatible or non-EcoFlow solar panels/cables
  • Operation outside rated specifications or unsuitable environments
  • Improper storage (e.g., long-term storage at empty charge)
  • Failure to follow the operating, charging or storage instructions in the product manual

Unauthorised work & eligibility

  • Self-modification, disassembly or repair by any non-authorised party
  • Removed/altered/unreadable serial numbers or warranty labels
  • Warranty period expired, or no valid proof of purchase
  • Products not sold through EcoFlow Malaysia's authorised channels
  • Damage from force majeure / natural disaster
Customers requesting fully free service on non-warranty cases may be redirected to EcoFlow's official global support. Our local Service Centre's role is to assist and handle cases efficiently, not to absorb all costs on damage that is not a manufacturing defect.

8. Battery, Runtime & Smart Device Terms

  • Capacity fade is normal. Lithium batteries naturally lose capacity with use and time. A gradual decline is expected and is not a defect. A battery is considered defective only if capacity drops abnormally and prematurely due to a manufacturing fault, confirmed by inspection.
  • Cycle-life benchmark. EcoFlow LFP battery products are designed to retain a substantial portion of their original capacity across a high number of charge cycles. Coverage applies to premature failure, not to expected end-of-life degradation.
  • Degradation standard for claims. A battery is assessed as defective only if, under normal use and within its rated cycle life, usable capacity falls below 70% of its original rated capacity during the Battery Warranty Period as a result of a manufacturing fault (confirmed by inspection). Capacity loss from exceeding the rated cycle count, misuse, or the environmental/storage conditions below is not covered.
  • Maintenance condition. To keep battery coverage valid, do not leave the unit fully depleted (0%) in storage; keep a moderate charge and recharge it at least once every 3 months, as specified in the product manual. Damage from deep over-discharge (e.g., leaving the unit uncharged for long periods) or from charging with non-approved sources is not covered.
  • Batteries are dangerous goods for shipping. Swollen, leaking, burnt or physically damaged batteries must be reported immediately and must not be shipped without written handling instructions from the Service Centre.
Battery care required by the product manual. Following the manual is a condition of warranty. In summary: charge fully before first use and use only EcoFlow-approved chargers, cables and solar connectors; charge and operate within the manufacturer's temperature range (see the reference table below); do not store the unit fully charged (100%) or fully depleted (0%); for long periods of non-use keep a moderate charge (around half) and recharge at least once every 3 months; and store it in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Damage caused by not following these instructions is a Non-Warranty Case.

Manufacturer operating and storage conditions for popular models (from EcoFlow's official specifications):

Model Charging temp Discharging temp Optimal / storage temp Cycle life
RIVER 3 / RIVER 3 Plus 0–45°C (32–113°F) −10–45°C (14–113°F) 20–30°C (68–86°F) 3000 cycles to 80%
DELTA 3 0–45°C (32–113°F) −10–45°C (14–113°F) 20–30°C (68–86°F) 4000 cycles to 80%
DELTA Pro 3 0–45°C (32–113°F) −10–45°C (14–113°F) 20–30°C (68–86°F) 4000 cycles to 80%

Temperature ranges are consistent across the current DELTA and RIVER LiFePO4 line; other models follow the same operating principles. Always check the specific figures in your product's user manual, which prevails.

Care & storage in Malaysia's climate. Heat, humidity and dust accelerate ageing and can cause damage that is not covered by warranty. To protect your product and your coverage, please: avoid leaving the unit inside a parked vehicle or in direct sun; keep it out of prolonged high-heat, wet, or dusty jobsite conditions; store it in a cool, dry place; and, during long storage, keep the battery at a moderate charge and recharge it periodically. Damage arising from these conditions is treated as a Non-Warranty Case.
Runtime and power consumption vary — faster-than-expected drain is usually not a defect. How long a battery, power station, GLACIER or WAVE lasts on a charge depends heavily on the load connected, how it is used, and the surrounding environment. Higher ambient temperature, direct sun, frequent lid/door opening, a large target temperature difference, high-wattage appliances, cable losses and other factors all increase power draw. A GLACIER working hard in a hot car, or a power station running a heavy appliance, will deplete far faster than under ideal laboratory conditions — this reflects usage and environment, not a battery fault. A unit is assessed as defective only if it fails to deliver its rated capacity under normal, comparable conditions, confirmed by inspection.

Smart device care (GLACIER / WAVE)

  • Follow the manual's ambient-temperature and ventilation requirements; leave clearance around the vents and never block airflow.
  • Regularly clean the vents, condenser and any filters — dust and restricted airflow reduce cooling/heating efficiency and increase power consumption.
  • Pre-cool in the shade where possible, minimise lid/door opening, and avoid setting an extreme temperature in very hot surroundings; the higher energy use this causes is normal, not a fault.
  • Keep door seals/gaskets clean; drain and dry the interior before storage; store in a dry, ventilated place.
  • Use only approved batteries and adapters, and charge the built-in or plug-in battery following the battery-care rules above.

9. Solar Panel-Specific Terms

  • Solar panels carry the Warranty Period shown in Section 3 against defects in cells, wiring and connectors under normal use.
  • Output tolerance. Rated wattage is measured under Standard Test Conditions (STC). Real-world output varies with sunlight, angle, temperature, cabling and the connected station's input limit — lower output under field conditions is not a defect. A performance claim is assessed only against STC-equivalent testing.
  • Physical damage — cracked cells from impact or bending beyond spec, torn fabric, water ingress beyond IP rating, scratches and hotspots from shading/debris — is excluded.
  • Connector/cable mismatches are a compatibility issue, not a defect. Confirm the correct Solar-to-XT60i or MC4 cabling for your station before use.
  • Maintenance. Keep the panel surface clean (wipe with a soft, damp cloth); avoid partial shading, which disproportionately lowers output; do not fold or pack the panel away while wet; inspect cables and connectors for wear; and store it flat or folded, per the manual, in a dry place. Output naturally falls with heat, low sun angle, cloud and dust — this is normal, not a defect.
  • Repairability. Solar panels are not repaired at cell or panel-body level. Where a fault is limited to an external cable or detachable connector, that part may be replaced individually. A defective panel within the Warranty Period is handled as a warranty claim; a panel that is out of warranty or physically damaged is offered a replacement quotation rather than a body repair.

10. Inspection & Warranty Determination

Every returned product is inspected before a warranty decision is made. The process is:

  1. Intake & logging — the unit, accessories and reported fault are recorded, and an inspection reference is issued.
  2. Technical inspection — the Service Centre tests the unit and determines whether the fault is a manufacturing defect (Warranty Case) or falls under the exclusions in Section 7 (Non-Warranty Case).
  3. Findings & quotation — you receive the finding. If it is a Non-Warranty Case or an out-of-warranty repair, a quotation is provided for your approval before any chargeable work begins.
  4. Disagreement — if you dispute the finding, the case may be escalated to EcoFlow's official technical support or an independent third-party assessment; the assessment outcome is final.

Service Centre discretion. Based on its inspection findings, the Recommended Service Centre has the right to determine whether a product has been misused, whether a case is a warranty or a chargeable non-warranty case, whether an RMA is required, and to set the quotation for spare parts and labour. These determinations are made in good faith on technical grounds; if you disagree, the escalation route above applies.

An inspection fee applies to non-warranty and out-of-warranty cases — see Section 11.

11. Service Charges & Fees

Genuine warranty repairs are covered for parts and labour. To keep the Service Centre sustainable, the charges below may apply. All fees are disclosed to you in advance, and you approve any chargeable work before it starts.

Within warranty: spare parts and labour are free of charge, but the inspection fee and delivery/courier are compulsory and payable by the customer. For non-warranty and out-of-warranty cases, labour and spare parts are charged in addition (see below).

11.1 Inspection / diagnostic fee

An inspection fee applies to every case — including valid in-warranty cases — as well as non-warranty cases, out-of-warranty repairs and "no fault found" outcomes. For chargeable (non-warranty / out-of-warranty) repairs, if you proceed the fee is credited toward the repair cost.

Product family West Malaysia East Malaysia (higher)
RIVER series (incl. TRAIL & RIVER extra batteries) RM150 RM300
DELTA 3 series (incl. DELTA 2 & DELTA 3 extra batteries) RM200 RM400
DELTA Pro series (Pro / Pro 3 / Pro Ultra & their batteries) RM300 RM600
Solar panels, GLACIER, WAVE, chargers & accessories Quoted per case Quoted per case (higher)

11.2 Spare parts & labour

For non-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs, spare parts are quoted per case (module/part cost plus labour). Work proceeds only after your written approval of the quotation.

11.3 Delivery / courier

Delivery costs are borne by the customer in both directions — sending the unit to the Service Centre and the return delivery back to you — regardless of whether the case is a warranty or non-warranty case. The Service Centre covers parts and labour on valid warranty repairs; courier/logistics remain the customer's responsibility. Customers may also drop off and collect in person to avoid courier charges.

11.4 How your repair is quoted

We do not publish a fixed repair price list, because the cost depends on the product model, the confirmed fault, parts availability and the technical work involved. Inspection fees start from RM150, and a final quotation is always provided after inspection. Each quotation is presented as a single, clear breakdown:

Quotation line What it covers
Inspection Fee Intake, diagnosis, dismantling and initial testing (from RM150)
Parts Replacement Any parts that need to be replaced, quoted per case
Repair Service Fee Labour for dismantling, repair, firmware update and testing
Total Repair Quotation The final amount payable

If you accept the repair, the Inspection Fee is absorbed into the Total — you are never charged for it twice. No chargeable work begins without your approval.

11.5 East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan)

Transferring spare parts, tools and trained technicians to East Malaysia is significantly more costly and time-consuming than in West Malaysia. As a result, service in East Malaysia is priced differently:

  • Inspection fees are higher than the West Malaysia rates in Section 11.1.
  • Spare-parts pricing, labour and delivery/courier may also be higher than in West Malaysia.
  • Waiting / lead times in East Malaysia are longer than the West Malaysia targets shown in Section 12, owing to parts logistics and transit.
  • Because of limited local resources, the East Malaysia Recommended Service Centre reserves the right to decline service on products not purchased from our authorised channels.

Urgent, expedited or on-site support (e.g., corporate/government or time-critical cases) can be arranged case by case with agreed charges.

12. How to Make a Claim

  1. Contact us — email aftersales@gorental.my or WhatsApp Technical Support at (+60) 11-2826 7727.
  2. Provide — order number/proof of purchase, product name & serial number, and clear photos/video showing the issue.
  3. Receive RMA — our team verifies eligibility and issues Return Material Authorization and shipping/drop-off instructions. Do not ship before receiving RMA.
  4. Inspection & outcome — we inspect (Section 10) and, if eligible, repair, replace a defective part, replace the unit, or — at our discretion — offer another remedy. Non-warranty and out-of-warranty cases receive a quotation first.

Remote diagnosis first. Many issues — firmware, settings, accessory or setup-related — can be resolved without sending the unit in. Where possible we will run a remote diagnosis through our RMA form and support channels first, and only ask you to send the product to the Service Centre if it is genuinely needed. This avoids unnecessary shipping and "no fault found" trips.

Repair service timeframe

The following are our target timeframes. They are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on parts availability, case complexity and courier transit (add transit time for East Malaysia and remote areas).

Stage Target timeframe
Acknowledge your request 1–2 business days
Inspection & diagnosis (after we receive the unit) 3–5 business days
Repair once approved and parts are in local stock 7–14 business days
Repair requiring ordered/imported parts or HQ / RMA review 4–8 weeks (advised case by case)

Where a part is not in local stock we will advise the expected lead time and, for urgent cases, discuss interim options.

13. Out-of-Warranty Paid Repair

When the Warranty Period has expired or a case is excluded under Section 7, we still offer paid repair service in Malaysia so you can keep your equipment running. A quotation is provided before any work begins and may include:

  • Inspection / diagnostic fee per Section 11.1 (creditable toward the repair if you proceed)
  • Replacement parts or module cost (quoted per case)
  • Labour
  • Delivery / courier both ways, borne by the customer

Paid repairs carry a 90-day workmanship warranty on the specific repair performed and the parts replaced.

14. EcoFlow Care Extended Protection

For added peace of mind, EcoFlow Malaysia offers an optional EcoFlow Care program — the recommended way to obtain up to 5-year coverage on any product. For an additional fee based on the product's MSRP, customers can extend coverage beyond the local standard warranty and enjoy priority replacement support.

  • Who it suits: heavy users, rental fleets, event operators, and corporate or government buyers who need maximum uptime.
  • Benefits may include: extended coverage duration, priority handling, discounted or waived inspection fees, and faster replacement support.
  • EcoFlow Care is optional, purchased separately, and governed by its own terms provided at enrolment.

Availability, pricing and exact benefits are confirmed at time of enrolment. Contact our team for a quote.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, EcoFlow Malaysia's total liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or, at its discretion, the value of the affected Product. EcoFlow Malaysia is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, loss of profit, downtime, or damage to other equipment. This policy does not exclude any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other applicable Malaysian law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Case Studies

These examples illustrate how common situations are handled. They are for guidance; every case is assessed on its own inspection findings.

Warranty — Approved

Case A — DELTA Pro 3 stops charging (month 14)

Situation: A customer's DELTA Pro 3 (4096Wh; 2-yr unit + 5-yr battery) no longer accepts AC charging. Unit is physically clean, serial intact, valid invoice provided.
Finding: Inspection confirms a faulty internal charging board — a manufacturing defect. The charging board is a unit component, covered within the 2-year whole-unit warranty (fault reported at month 14).
Outcome: Board repaired/replaced under warranty at no parts-or-labour charge. The customer arranges and pays courier to send the unit in and for its return (or drops off in person). Repair carries the remaining warranty (or 90 days, whichever is longer).
Non-Warranty — Declined (water)

Case B — RIVER 3 Plus after a camping trip in the rain

Situation: A RIVER 3 Plus (2-yr unit + 5-yr battery) won't power on after being left out overnight in heavy rain.
Finding: Inspection shows internal corrosion and water ingress — an excluded cause under Section 7, even though the unit is within the time period.
Outcome: Not covered. RIVER-series inspection fee of RM150 applies (credited toward the repair if the customer proceeds), plus a parts-and-labour quotation and courier both ways. If they require fully free service, they may be directed to EcoFlow official support.
Non-Warranty — Declined (unauthorised repair)

Case C — DELTA 2 opened by a third-party shop

Situation: A DELTA 2 was opened and "fixed" by a non-authorised repair shop, then developed further faults.
Finding: Warranty seal broken and non-original parts inside — self/unauthorised repair voids warranty.
Outcome: Not covered. DELTA 3-series inspection fee of RM200 applies, with a paid parts-and-labour quotation; any repair we perform then carries our 90-day workmanship warranty.
Goodwill — Partial

Case D — 400W Portable Solar Panel, minor output drop (month 20)

Situation: Customer reports lower-than-expected charging from a 400W portable panel (2-year warranty). No visible damage; valid proof of purchase.
Finding: Field output is low due to high ambient temperature, panel angle and the connected RIVER station's input cap — within normal tolerance under Section 9, not a cell defect. One connector shows minor wear.
Outcome: Panel itself not defective, so no unit replacement. As a goodwill gesture the worn connector/cable is replaced at minimal cost, and the customer is advised on correct pairing to maximise output.
Out-of-Warranty — Paid

Case E — GLACIER fridge compressor, month 30

Situation: A GLACIER Classic (1-year appliance warranty) stops cooling at 30 months — well past the period.
Finding: Compressor fault; no misuse. The compressor is an appliance component (not a battery), so the separate battery cover does not apply. Genuine fault, but outside the Warranty Period.
Outcome: Handled as paid repair. Inspection fee (quoted for GLACIER), plus part + labour quotation and courier both ways; the repair is backed by a 90-day workmanship warranty. Customer is also offered EcoFlow Care for future coverage.
Warranty — Replacement (DOA)

Case F — DELTA 3 Ultra Plus dead on arrival (day 9)

Situation: A newly delivered DELTA 3 Ultra Plus (3072Wh; 2-yr unit + 5-yr battery) fails to power on out of the box; reported on day 9 with complete packaging.
Finding: Confirmed DOA manufacturing defect within the 30-day window.
Outcome: Replaced with a new equivalent unit after inspection; no parts, labour or inspection charge. Courier to send in and receive the replacement is arranged by the customer, or handled by in-person drop-off/collection.
Discontinued Stock — Adjusted Period

Case G — GLACIER (Gen 1) bought on clearance

Situation: A customer buys a discontinued GLACIER (Gen 1) at a clearance price. The unit was manufactured earlier and had been held in stock.
Terms: Because it is aged, discontinued stock, the invoice states an adjusted, shorter warranty period rather than the full standard period — clearly shown and accepted at checkout.
Outcome: A defect within the adjusted period on the invoice is covered as a warranty case. A fault after that period is handled as paid repair. The same principle applies to other discontinued/aged-stock models such as the DELTA Pro.
East Malaysia — Service Declined

Case H — Non-authorised-channel unit in Sabah

Situation: A customer in Sabah brings in an EcoFlow power station bought from an overseas online marketplace (not an authorised Malaysian channel) and asks the East Malaysia Recommended Service Centre to repair a fault.
Finding: The unit was not purchased from our authorised channels. As set out in Section 11.5, the East Malaysia centre has limited local spare parts, tooling and trained technicians.
Outcome: The East Malaysia Recommended Service Centre exercises its right to decline service on this unit. The customer is directed to the original seller/platform for warranty support. If that seller refers them back, a paid inspection with a written report can be arranged, but no warranty repair or RMA will be performed here.
