Overlanding here is humidity, not cold. The load that matters is a 12V fridge running all day, and a battery that will take a 800W alternator charge on the drive between camps rather than waiting for sun.
Every unit on this page is stocked locally by Official EcoFlow Malaysia, carries Malaysian warranty service, and ships free on orders over RM 2,000.

Runtimes are calculated against the first unit recommended below, at 90% inverter efficiency. Real figures move with ambient temperature and how hard the appliance cycles.
Load studio · 4x4 and overlanding
Scroll to run the trip from first light through to after dark. Everything you can change sits on the frame itself: the unit along the top, the charging on the left, and every load on the right switches off when you tap it.
Everything in the frame is a control. Tap a unit along the top to swap the battery, tap a charge source on the left to add or drop hours of it, tap a load on the right to switch it off, and tap a number at the bottom to change how many days you are out. Amber is the 800w alternator, pale blue the solar panel, blue the output to your loads. DC loads skip the inverter and cost about 10% less than the same appliance on AC.

The EcoFlow gear in this trip
Actual consumption will vary with how you use it. Appliance ratings differ between makes and models, a compressor cycles harder in heat, a fridge that is opened often works more, and battery capacity falls in high ambient temperature. Treat every figure here as a worked estimate for planning, not a guarantee of runtime. A model, not a promise. AC loads carry a 10% inverter loss, DC loads none; solar assumes 62% of panel rating over a Malaysian day; the alternator figure assumes the engine is actually running. Heat, a tired fridge seal and a hard-cycling compressor all move it.

Solar refill
Usable energy is 90% of rated capacity. Solar figures assume the panel earns about 62% of its rating over a Malaysian day - clear morning, cloud after two, no shade on the array.
The arithmetic
A 45L fridge averages 45W in this heat, so a day costs about 1080Wh. Lights and phones add 400Wh. That is 1.5kWh a day — a 2048Wh unit covers a night and a full day with margin, and the drive out refills it.
Who buys this
Club convoys, weekend trail runs, hunters and photographers working out of the vehicle.
Season and climate
November to February the trails run wet. Charge before you leave; a panel under canopy earns almost nothing.
Where people do this
Four things that change the outcome more than the size of the battery does.
01
Alternator charger
The only fast charge on a trail with no sun. 800W off the engine between camps.
02
A boot box or strap
Keep the unit off the tray floor and stop it moving on a side slope.
03
12V Anderson lead
Runs the fridge on DC instead of through the inverter, which saves 8–12% of the pack.
04
220W folding panel
Turns a two-day trip into an open-ended one, provided you have a clearing.
01
Running the fridge through the inverter
The 240V socket costs you 8-12% in conversion. Use the 12V or Anderson outlet and the same pack lasts most of another night.
02
Buying capacity instead of a charger
A 2kWh unit you can refill on the drive beats a 4kWh unit you cannot. The alternator charger is the upgrade, not the next size up.
03
Leaving it loose on the tray floor
Heat, dust and a side slope. Strapped in a boot box, intake clear, or it derates on the hottest afternoon of the trip.
Why this one, for this
01
It is the smallest unit that still holds a 45L fridge for a full night and a day.
02
It takes the 800W alternator charge, so the drive between camps is your refill.
03
22.1kg is a one-person lift into a boot. The next size up is not.

Yes. An alternator charger takes up to 800W off the vehicle, so a two-hour drive between camps refills most of a DELTA 3 Max. It is the fastest charge you have on a trail with no sun.
The units are not rated for immersion. Keep it in the cabin or a boot box, off the tray floor. Every unit we sell is serviced in Malaysia if something does go wrong.
A 45L fridge averages around 45W in this climate. DELTA 3 Max holds roughly 30 hours; add a 220W panel and it runs indefinitely in open sun.
Appliances, hours, and whether it has to survive a whole weekend without sun. That is enough to name one model instead of three.
