Do I need to rewire the house?
No. A Smart Home Panel sits alongside your consumer unit and takes over the circuits you nominate. Without one, you plug appliances straight into the unit and nothing is touched at all.
Can it charge from solar?
Yes, up to 2600W on DELTA Pro 3. In a long outage that is what turns a one-night system into an indefinite one.
Will it work with TNB's tariff?
It charges from the grid when you tell it to, so you can fill it outside peak hours. Whether that saves money depends on your tariff band, and we will look at your bill before claiming it will.
What happens when the battery is empty?
The load transfers back to the grid the moment it returns, and the unit begins recharging. Nothing needs resetting.
