Salt air and a wet deck are the real constraints. Keep the unit in a dry box under the console and run the fridge, the lights and the electronics off it instead of cycling the starter battery you need to get home on.
For island resorts and dive operators running off a generator schedule, a battery bank covers the hours the generator is off. Bulk pricing applies from four units.

Runtimes are calculated against the first unit recommended below, at 90% inverter efficiency. Real figures move with ambient temperature and how hard the appliance cycles.
Load studio · fishing and islands
A Rompin day is sixteen hours on the water with no engine charger worth clamping to, so the panel on the cabin roof is your only source once you cast off. Scroll the day and tap the boat electronics off when you would not run them.
Everything in the frame is a control. Tap a unit along the top to swap the battery, tap a charge source on the left to add or drop hours of it, tap a load on the right to switch it off, and tap a number at the bottom to change how many days you are out. Amber is mains charging, pale blue the solar panel, blue the output to your loads. DC loads skip the inverter and cost about 10% less than the same appliance on AC.

The EcoFlow gear in this trip
Actual consumption will vary with how you use it. Appliance ratings differ between makes and models, a compressor cycles harder in heat, a fridge that is opened often works more, and battery capacity falls in high ambient temperature. Treat every figure here as a worked estimate for planning, not a guarantee of runtime. A model, not a promise. AC loads carry a 10% inverter loss, DC loads none; solar assumes 62% of panel rating over a Malaysian day; the alternator figure assumes the engine is actually running. Heat, a tired fridge seal and a hard-cycling compressor all move it.

Solar refill
Usable energy is 90% of rated capacity. Solar figures assume the panel earns about 62% of its rating over a Malaysian day - clear morning, cloud after two, no shade on the array.
The arithmetic
A 40L chiller cycling at 90W for a 14-hour trip is about 1.3kWh. Add lights, a sounder and phones and you are at 1.6kWh — a 2048Wh unit is the honest floor for an overnight boat.
Who buys this
Charter operators, weekend anglers, island resort staff and marine researchers.
Season and climate
The monsoon closes the east coast from November to February. Plan around it; the boats do.
Where people do this
Four things that change the outcome more than the size of the battery does.
01
Salt-air discipline
Rinse nothing, wipe everything, and keep the unit in a dry box. Salt kills ports before cells.
02
DC leads for the sounder
Fishfinders and bilge pumps are 12V. Skip the inverter and the losses.
03
Ice, then power
Power the chiller only when the ice is losing. A chiller cycling at 90W costs less than you think.
04
A second small unit
Two 300Wh units in different dry bags survive one soaking; one 2kWh unit does not.
01
Cycling the starter battery
A sounder and a VHF off the engine battery is how boats get towed in. The unit exists so the starter battery only ever starts.
02
One big unit instead of two small
One wave over the gunwale ends a single-unit trip. Two 300Wh units in separate dry bags is the redundancy a boat actually needs.
03
Powering the chiller from the first hour
Let ice do the work while it still can and switch the compressor on when the box starts losing. It is the difference between 900Wh and 1.6kWh.
Why this one, for this
01
A 14-hour trip with the chiller cycling is 1.6kWh. This is the honest floor.
02
3000W spare capacity means the sounder and the lights never compete.
03
Small enough to live in a dry box under the console.

Yes. Both together sit under 100W, which any DELTA size carries through a full day out and back.
Four units or more is quoted as a bulk order, on one invoice, with delivery scheduled to the jetty date you give us.
